Workspace setup
Connect and choose your calendars
Connect Google, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or CalDAV and choose calendars for availability and new appointments.
Before you start
Each host connects their own account. You need permission to view calendars used to check availability and add appointments to the calendar where they will be saved.
On this page
Connect Google or Microsoft
- Open Calendars in the workspace navigation.
- Choose Connect Google Calendar or Connect Microsoft Calendar.
- Sign in to the account you want to use, check the requested calendar access and approve it.
- Return to Schedivo and choose the calendars for this connection.
Connect a CalDAV account
- On Calendars, find Connect CalDAV.
- Enter your calendar service’s public HTTPS server address, username and password or app password.
- Select Connect calendar. When the calendars have loaded, choose how to use them.
Choose availability and appointment calendars
Busy events block overlapping booking times. All-day busy events block their dates; events marked free do not block availability. Customers see your available times, not your calendar event titles.
- Open the connected account’s calendar settings.
- Select the calendars Schedivo should check for busy times. You can check more than one.
- Under Save appointments to, choose a calendar you have permission to add appointments to. Select the available calendar address if prompted.
- Enable Allow bookings on this calendar when available, then choose Save calendar settings.
If a calendar does not work
Disconnecting a calendar does not cancel existing appointments. Reconnect it if Schedivo needs to check availability or update appointments on that calendar.
- Reconnect the account if its permission has expired or been removed.
- If a calendar is missing, check that you signed in to the right account and that the account owns or can access it.
- If appointments cannot be saved, choose a calendar you have permission to add appointments to and check that bookings are allowed.
- For CalDAV, check the provider’s server address and whether it requires an app password. Do not send your password to support.
